COME ON OUT AND ENJOY!
MERRY CHRISTMAS!

There is no fee for the Living Nativity.

Come and capture the meaning of Christmas.

The Living Nativity is a walk through event, reminiscent of that first Holy Christmas.
Live character portrayals include Mary, Joseph, the shepherds, the wise men and angels.
The stable will be filled with live animals, and there is opportunity to interact with them.
Animals included in the scene are sheep, goats, donkeys, mules, dogs, chickens, guineas,
ducks, and horses.  The nativity is housed
indoors an authentic Amish built gambrel roof barn.

The original wondrous Christmas Story will spring to life once again,
as you look upon this re-enactment of that Holy Night when Jesus our Savior was born.

Enter into the peace of a certain cool winter's night when while there were
"Shepherds watching their flock by night" Jesus came.  The sheep flock at Shepherd's Cross
will be lying near by in the fields.

  • Over one hundred costumed Bible characters, during the course of the six days.
  • Hospitality table - includes apple cider, cookies and coloring sheets.
  • Special activities offered periodically over the course of the Nativity include:
spinning & other fiber arts demonstrations.
  • Hands-on learning center -  features pecans and evergreens as well as farm animals.
  • Shepherd's Cross is PASS aligned & an accredited Oklahoma Agritourism facility.
  • The Living Nativity is not a performance.  It is intended for a peaceful reflection upon the meaning
of Christmas.  Step back in time, to the era of Christ's birth.
  • Christmas children's audio-visual program

"While they were there (in Bethlehem), the time came for the baby to be born,
and she gave birth to her firstborn, a son.  She wrapped Him in clothes and
placed Him in a manger because there was no room for them in the inn."
Luke 2:6-7
