Release Form and Shepherd’s Cross Rules

Our animals are all working animals, and not necessarily predictable. To ensure safety for our guests and
the animals we ask you to follow these guidelines:

    -        No petting any animals without permission from a Shepherd’s Cross employee.
    -        Do not pick up any animals.
    -        To comply with USDA as a farm producing food we cannot allow pets on the grounds.
    -        Please come with clean hands and shoes.
    -        Wear close-toed shoes only.
    -        Wash your hands or use sanitizer after touching the animals, especially before eating, and after
            the tour.
    -        Stay away from the ram pens by the smaller barn! Rams are especially territorial.

We cannot be responsible for any sort of accident, injury, or illness while on the premises, or following a visit.
For your further safety we require our visitors to follow these guidelines in behavior:

    -        No climbing trees, fences, into the tree house, or onto animals.
    -        No alcohol or mind-altering substances of any kind are allowed on the premises.
    -        No smoking.
    -        Children are the responsibility of the adults they came with, not the Shepherd’s Cross staff. They must
be supervised at all times, as the farm affords a wide range for mischief.
    -        Do not enter doors or gates without a tour guide’s lead. Stay with your Shepherd!
    -        If you volunteer help, you do so at your own risk—we aren’t responsible for accidents.

    -        Picnics are to be on the grounds in front of the house only.
    -        All Shepherd’s Shop guests are requested to wait until attendant is available to accompany them to the
            shop.
    -        While we want to satisfy our customers, due to USDA regulations we cannot accept returns on any food
products. Other arrangements will be made.
    -        Any person entering these premises or participating in Shepherd’s Cross activities agrees not to hold
Shepherd’s Cross, its owners, participants, employees, or volunteers liable for anything.

As the guardian, parent, or authorized person for this group of individuals, I acknowledge that I have read
and will abide by the rules and regulations of Shepherd’s Cross.  I also acknowledge these rules and
regulations on behalf of others represented here or not represented here today.
